yup, still unwatchable. Even breaking up is less painful than to watch this with chinese dub.
It's beyond awful, it literally can't get worse. Literally so painful that i'm crying.

For the first time i wished so that Chinese language never existed.
It is ruining the show. And to make matters worse, their voices are shite too, literally 0 voice control. MC sounds like he's 34, when he is supposed to be in his 20s.
And even Fu Hua got desecrated, in her case seems that her VA has some idea on the character, but she's still leagues away from Jp Va for Fu Hua.

I know this is a Chinese anime, and that manga is also Chinese, but for the love of god, Chinese language is not for entertainment and has no potential for it as well. It will never sound good, because it's made to sound bad. It's a language that was made for military despotism, and that's all that it's good for.

and worst of all, still no info on Jp dub.

I was not used to it too in the beginning..but after I watch many Donghua/Chinese anime.. I get used to it. Japanese anime is getting weird and boring..that's why I started watching Chinese Anime, specially Soul Land and Mo Dao Zu Shi.

For me it's not a thing of "not used to", Chinese and Korean dub sounds "screeching glass", i can't stand the sound of it. It's just painful to listen.
While on Japanese dub is like music to my ears, Japanese language in general sounds incredible.
But yes, i have to agree that Japanese Anime is getting... bleh. There are still some good shows here and there, but then there are shows that make you ask "how did this get approved for an anime season" kind of garbage.
Which is why i'm even more sad that those good Chinese and Korean shows don't get JP dub, so more people could enjoy and appreciate them.

You're literally just ignorant. There's hundreds of Korean dramas out there that are super popular that people enjoy without Japanese dub. True Beauty, Squid Game, Vincenzo. A lot of people enjoy Chinese and Korean dub (myself included). There's nothing wrong with it and how they speak.

It's best you stay away from these people countries because you'll probably tell them to shut up if you hear them. You feel you're so entitled to dictate language because you feel one is superior to an other. Guess what there's no "superior language". That's just you're bias stupidity speaking. Lol..Hitori no Sita originally is Chinese .. the same as Reikenzan and SpiritPact. I also like that before..i can't stand Chinese language..but since japanese anime become boring and not so good anymore..only selling bewbs and echii stuff..I then move to Chinese Drama. I can't stand the 3 D in the beginning..but now some of them are good ..like Soul Land, Thousand Autums and Juan Siliang. Japanese anime should so something to their anime..instead making a reincarnation to be slime or keep making an isekai anime...or weird stuff..

I took a month break from this because of the switch to mandarin but I watched "Hero return" and I got used to Chinese Dubs now, so I am PUMPED to pick this back up and I know I will absolutely enjoy it .

I hate when anime put spoilers in openings and endings tho. It's not too significant and gets revealed in the next episode, but its pretty obvious what the spoiler will be. For that reason, I'm giving u a heads up to skip the ending song or listen but don't watch and just watch it next ep instead if u mind minor spoilers. (I skipped watching the opening video, so idk if any are in it) toot
